080 Bcn Fashion – Día 2 (3/02/2015)

¡Por fin llegaba el segundo día en el 080 Barcelona Fashion!

El primer desfile al que asistimos fue el de Txell Miras, llamado “Ángulos”. Este desfile reivindica la pureza de las formas, buscando la esencia en ellas, esculpiéndolas en cartón y utilizando un esquema que realizaba las funciones de un esqueleto.

A continuación fuimos al desfile de Lebor Gabala, que presentó la colección “Los extremos se atraen”. El objetivo de esta colección era unir extremos opuestos, como por ejemplo  estampados psicodélicos, con tal de transportarte a los sesenta a través de los tejidos y  el extremo de tejidos tecnológicos del siglo XXI. También se mostraban de faldas largas a faldas muy cortas y de vestidos largos a vestidos muy cortos, donde predominaban los tonos oscuros, pero coloridos.

Como curiosidad queremos compartir con vosotros una captura de nuestro twitter, ya que mientras esperábamos impacientes al live photo shoot de Ruven y Rossy, decidimos enviar un tweet donde etiquetamos a Rossy. Y para nuestra sorpresa Rossy de Palma nos respondió, algo que queremos mostrar y que nos hizo asistir al live photo shoot con más ganas.

Así que mientras preparaban la iluminación y todo el equipo para el shooting, aprovechamos para inspeccionar y pasear por el Open Area. Mientras paseábamos por él, vimos todos los stands. Por ejemplo stands de patrocinadores como Solan de Cabras, Lavazza, Moritz, MAC, Redken, Rowenta, de revistas como Woman, Fashionisima y SModa. Y otros stands que nos llamaron la atención como el de Colette Barcelona, Lola Nomada, Wild Clothing, GS Bears entre otros. Además, nos hicimos unas fotos para participar en el sorteo de Mii by Mango y nos regalaron estas fotos de recuerdo.

Y por fin llegó el momento del live photo shoot realizado por el fotógrafo Ruven Afanador y como modelo, la actriz Rossy de Palma. Mientras maquillaban a Rossy, tuvimos la oportunidad de ver a Rafael Amargo dirigir a unos bailarines para el rodaje de Ruven y a él mismo bailando, predicando con el ejemplo de como se hacía la coreografía de forma correcta.

A continuación comenzó el shooting de Rossy de Palma, donde nos llamó mucho la atención que Ruven trabajo en todo momento con luz continua y predominaba la importancia de la imagen en movimiento sobre la estática. Incluso cuando Ruven tomaba fotografías, también procuraba filmar todo lo que sucedía.

Para nosotras fue todo un privilegio poder ver una sesión de fotos de Ruven, ya que es un referente para ambas y aprendimos mucho pudiendo presenciar de principio a fin el photo shoot y su metodología de trabajo, tanto por su parte, como por parte del equipo al completo, incluyendo el trabajo de la propia Rossy como modelo.

Igual que terminaba el live photo shoot, también acababa nuestro segundo día, pero el día siguiente nos esperaban muchas cosas más.

The second day in the 080 Barcelona Fashion was finally here!

The first runway we attended was the Txell Miras one, called “Ángulos”. Its main goal was to reclaim the purity of shapes, looking for its essence and reflecting it by using cardboards, which followed a structure that did the same functions as a human skeleton.

Then, we went to Lebor Gabala’s runway, whose collection was called “Los extremos se atraen”. Its aim was to join opposite extremes, such as psychedelic prints extreme, in order to make people feel like if they were at the sixties, to the extreme of using technologic fabric from the 21s century. Also from long to really short skirts were shown, and from long to quite short dresses, where dark tones, but colorful, stood out.

As a curiosity, we want to share with you a screenshot from our twitter account. Because while we were waiting anxiously for Ruven’s and Rossy’s live photo shoot, we decided to tweet and tag Rossy, and to our surprise Rossy de Palma answered us, something that we want to show you, and it made us feel even more excited for being able to assist to the live photo shoot.

While we were waiting for all the lighting setups to be done, and all the equipment to be ready for the shooting, we thought that we could take advantage of that time and walk around the Open Area. We saw sponsors stands such as Solan de Cabras, Lavazza, Moritz, MAC, Redken, Rowenta, stands of magazines like Woman, Fashionisima and SModa. And other stands that got our attention such as Colette Barcelona, Lola Nomada, Wild Clothing and GS Bears. Besides, we took part in the Mii by Mango raffle by taking a picture of ourselves, and they gave us those photos as a souvenir.

And finally was the time to start the live photo shoot by the photographer Ruven Afanador, and as a model, the actress Rossy de Palma. While makeup artists dressed Rossy up, we had the opportunity to see how Rafael Amargo directed some dancers, for Ruven’s shooting, and Rafael itself dancing, in order to show the dancers how the choreography had to be done properly.

Right after that, the shooting with Rossy de Palma started. And for us was really curious that Ruven did the entire shooting with continuous light, and gave more priority to the moving image, than to the still one. For example, even when Ruven was taking a photo, he was also recording what was going on during that shoot.

For us it was such an honor to be able to see a Ruven’s shooting, because he is a referent for both of us. And we learnt a lot by watching the shooting from the start to the end, we also learnt about his work methodology, and not only Ruven’s one, also how the entire team worked.

And our second day was over, like the live photo shoot was, but the next day we had more things to do.
