Salón del Cine y las Series

¡Hola a todos!
Este fin de semana hemos asistido al primer Salón del Cine y las Series de Barcelona, que tuvo lugar del 29 al 31 de Enero en La Farga Centre d’Activitats (Hospitalet de Llobregat). Un punto de encuentro para ver todo lo relacionado sobre mundo del cine y las series, donde asistieron tanto actores, guionistas, directores, distribuidores, productores y como no, el público.

This weekend we attended to the first Cinema and TV Series Convention from Barcelona, which took place from the 29th to the 31st of February in “La Farga Centre d’Activitats» (Hospitalet de Llobregat). A meeting point to see everything related with the cinema and television series world, in which actors, scriptwriters, directors, distributors, producers and of course, the audience attended.Nos hemos encontrado con un Salón lleno de actividades, con exposiciones temáticas para los fans de Star Wars, Indiana Jones y James Bond e incluso exposiciones de portadas de la revista Fotogramas y de revistas de cine de los años 20 hasta la actualidad. Además de todas estas exposiciones, el salón contaba con conferencias, talleres, charlas y proyecciones de series, pero queremos destacar su apuesta por el crowdfunding para poder llevar a cabo hasta 15 nuevos proyectos cinematográficos.
We found a convention plenty of activities, with themed exhibitions for the Star Wars, Indiana Jones and James Bond fans and even exhibitions of magazine covers of Fotogramas magazine, and of cinema magazines from the twenties to the present day. Apart from all those exhibitions, the convention counted with conferences, workshops, lectures and TV show screenings, but we want to outstand their commitment with the crowdfunding in order to carry out up to 15 new cinematic projects.

Mientras visitabamos el salón hemos visto stands con merchandising vario y nos hemos cruzado con Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, R2-D2, el Trono de Hierro de Juego de Tronos, la Tardis de Dr. Who… Pero entre todo hay algo que nos marcó, una situación divertida y bastante extraña, os ponemos en situación, imaginad que tenéis a Darth Vader a medio metro vuestro y que de repente veis como Olaf corre hacia a él para darle uno de sus abrazos calentitos… Sí,  creernos, fue muy raro, por suerte tenemos una foto como prueba de ese momento épico.
While we visited the convention we saw stands with several merchandising and we came across with Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, R2-D2,  the iron throne from Game of Thrones, Tardis from Dr. Who… But among all this there was something which marked us, a funny and quite weird situation, let’s explain it, imagine that you have Darth Vader at two feet from you and suddenly, you see Olaf running towards him to give him one of his warm hugs… Yes, believe us, it was really weird, luckily we have a picture which proves that epic moment.

Si tenéis la oportunidad de ir, no lo dudéis de verdad que no os vais a arrepentir, hoy es el último día del salón ¡así que aún estáis a tiempo! A nosotras nos encantó y nos lo pasamos genial. Es un espacio para todos los fans y profesionales del mundo del cine y las series, os sentiréis como en casa.
If you have the chance to go, don’t doubt you won’t deny it, today it’s the last convention day, so you still have time to visit it! We loved it and we had such a great time. It is a place for all the fans and professionals of the cinema and tv series world, you will feel at home.
