¡Por fin huele a vacaciones de verano! Y es que todos necesitamos un pequeño descanso para desconectar y las vacaciones son el momento ideal para quedar con los amigos, ir a la playa, tomar el sol… y con todo el calor siempre apetece sentarse en una terracita y tomarse un helado, ¿no?
Pues hoy os traemos una propuesta muy original a manos de la famosa heladería Rocambolesc de Jordi Roca.

Finally smells like summer holidays! We all need a little break to wind down and the holidays are the perfect time to meet with friends, go to the beach, sunbathe… and on hot days there’s nothing better than sitting on a terrace and have an ice cream, right?
Well, today we bring you a very original proposal by the famous ice-cream parlour Rocambolesc by Jordi Roca.
Y es que este reconocido chef ha creado un polo con el cuerpo del modelo Andrés Velencoso, un helado llamado Velencoco que, tal y como deja entender el nombre, se trata de un helado con sabor a coco, leche merengada, toques de canela y limón. Pero lo original es que se trata de un polo que tiene forma de Velencoso, lo cual se consiguió a través de un molde creado a partir de un escáner de su cuerpo y de una impresión 3D para captar cada detalle.
And this renowned chef has created an ice cream with the body of Andrés Velencoso, an ice cream called Velencoco that, as the name says, consists on a coconut ice cream, with meringued milk, touches of cinnamon and lemon. But the original thing is that it consist on an ice cream with the shape of Velencoso, something that was achieved thanks to a mould created with an scaner of his body and a 3D printing in order to capture each detail.
Además, a parte del helado de Velencoco, el chef también ha diseñado varios helados con figuras icónicas de ciudades, como el dedo de Colón (Barcelona), el Oso y el Madroño (Madrid), Darth Vader y también el “panet”, que consiste en un “helado caliente” que se introduce en un brioche que se sella en una especie de sandwichera. Además de ofrecer su clásica oferta de helados cien por cien artesanos, que representan algún postre que ha tenido Jordi en su restaurante El Celler de Can Roca.
Moreover, apart of the Velencoco ice cream, the chef has also designed several ice creams based on iconic figures of cities, such as the Columbus finger (Barcelona), the Bear and the strawberry tree (Madrid), Darth Vader and also the “panet”, which consists on a “hot ice cream” that is placed into a brioche that is sealed in a kind of sandwich maker. In addition to their classic ice creams that are one hundred per cent artisan and represent some dessert that Jordi has had in his restaurant “El Celler de Can Roca”.
